How to reach at GARHCHUMUK KOLIA TEACHERS’ TRAINING COLLEGE:

The College is situated at a well-known tourist and picnic spot, Garhchumuk. The deer park, forest, water bodies (58 Gate) and Damodar and Ganga Rivers are natural beauties of the site. These attract the tourists for decades together to satisfy their thirst for beauty. We also felt attracted to the site to built-up a knowledge campus there. • Railway :
  • From Howrah station to Uluberia station in 40 min. From Uluberia to College (Kolia) via 58 Gate by Bus, Auto, etc. 30 min.


• Road way :
  • From Esplanade (Kolkata) by CTC bus (Gadiyara – Dharmatola route) to 58 Gate in 70 min. Or by any bus from Kolkata towards Uluberia, Makardaha, Amta, etc. to Uluberia and from Uluberia to College (Kolia) via 58 Gate by Bus, Auto, etc. 30 min. From 58 Gate to College (Kolia -2 KM) by Bus, Auto, etc. in 4 min.


• Water way - I :
  • From Thakurpukur (Kolkata) to Burul Ghat by Bus, Auto, etc. in 45 min. From Burul Ghat to 58 Gate by water transporter (boat) over Ganga River in 15 min.


• Water way - II :
  • From Diamond Harbour/Thakurpukur to Dostopur by Bus in 25 min. Dostopur to Palta Ghat by Auto in 5 min. Palta Ghat to Dhoja Ghat by water transporter (boat) over Ganga River in 15 min. From Dhoja Ghat to College (Kolia) by Auto in 5 min.
