Mission & Vision

"We believe that every human being who is empowered to develop our studen's best potential proclaims the Glory of God"

The immediate aim behind the setting up of the GARHCHUMUK KOLIA TEACHERS' TRAINING COLLEGE is to create an enlightening environment at a socio-economically backward area mostly inhabited by the socio-economically backward people and of them the people belonging to the minority community forms the largest part. The persons behind the initiative of establishing the college mostly hail from the field of education-university, college and school. So, the intention of the persons to remain attached with educational activities outside their immediate fields of work also forms a part of the aim. The present mismatching between the demand and supply of the trained teachers in West Bengal is really a matter of concern. The efforts here are to contribute, even if to a minuscule extent, to the field of teacher education with an ultimate aim of supplying the nation with productive future citizens who may make their marks upon the annals of the nation as well as turn their nation to an object of destination for the people world-wide. The institution cherishes the hope of extending its boundary to other courses of teacher education as well as general education. It wants to turn itself into one of the premier educational destinations of India, if not of the world. Let us dream only to get the dream materialized—and that too only with proper man-making education.
